She is introverted and self-reliant, having survived for a long time on her own. She cares and want to protect the people from the Mud Whale. 	Maquia	Maquia - When The Promised Flower Blooms	Maquia is a 15-year-old Iorphian orphan and the adoptive mother of Ariel. At first, Maquia is extremely shy and soft spoken. She doubts her ability to be a mother to Ariel. She struggles to adapt to life outside of her birth nation. She is a skilled weaver. Many of her relationships have a melancholy undertone. Because she is Iorphian, Maquia ages slowier than humans.
