Marika Kouno is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She ia affiliated with Aoni Production. As a child already, she was in to reading aloud during elementary school. She begin her interest in voicing acting anime series. After learning Ikue Otani voiced both Pikachu from Pokemon and Chopper from One Piece, she became aspire pursing a career in voice acting. Entering high school, Kouno joined her school's voice acting club, where she studied the performance of voice actors. She also played basketball in high school. After high school, she enrolled in a traing school operated by the Yoyogi Animation Academy. She voiced Rin Kohana in Seiyu's Life, her first main role, and formed a music group with Rie Takahashi and Yuki Nagaku. Along with that, she voiced Yua Nakajima in Hinako Note, Sacchan in Mitsuboshi Colors and Yumina Umea Belfast in Another World With My Smartphone.
